Episode 38: Spirit Island - Imposing Depths of Indomitable Board Game

This week is Spirit Island by designer R. Eric Reuss. A serious game for serious gamers that defies expectations in the best possible way. Here's an admission, we were a bit nervous to cover this game and its mammoth decision space. As we explored the game in preparation for this episode, t felt as if no amount of plays would be enough, but perhaps more than anything else that is a testament to the game and engine at its heart. At the end of the day, we give it our best shot! I think you'll find it worth a listen. There's only one way to find out though, and the Interdecisional spaceship is now boarding!
